Mercantile
The Mercantile skill allows you to buy unique items from the merchants guild shop only available to skilled merchants, as well as a buy discount and sell bonus on all items in the shop.
Trade Routes
Dispatch a merchant caravan along a trade route. Each route costs coins upfront and returns coins and XP. Returns are variable — higher-level routes are more profitable.

Coin and XP returns shown are per-minute ranges across all level tiers for that route. See each individual route's page in order to see the specific ranges at which you receive certain coin/xp amounts
Shop bonuses
As your mercantile level increases, you'll receive decreased prices and can also sell items for more as described in the table below.

Equipping a mercantile cape can improve these bonuses further although you can't achieve a buying discount beyond -50%.
Items sell prices are capped to be at least 1 coin less than what you can buy them for (including discounts)
Merchants Guild Shop
The Merchants Guild (accessible from the Shop) sells exclusive items for players who have reached the required Mercantile level.
