Mercantile

The Mercantile skill covers two activities: Trade Routes and Expeditions.

Trade Routes

Dispatch a merchant caravan along a trade route. Each route costs coins upfront and returns coins and XP. Returns are variable — higher-level routes are more profitable.

Expeditions

Explore skilling dungeons to uncover lore notes and unlock hidden combat dungeons. You need your gathering skill (Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, or Agility) to meet the level requirement, not Mercantile level.

Collect enough lore notes (found at a random chance each minute) to reach the note threshold and permanently unlock the associated combat dungeon.

Merchants Guild Shop

The Merchants Guild (accessible from the Shop) sells exclusive items for players who have reached the required Mercantile level.
