Elder Skills
Elder skills mirror mainland skills in every way that matters to session flow (sessions, actions, XP curve, level 99 cap) but they level from a separate XP pool stored on your character. Sailing back and forth does not reset progress; a mainland prestige does not reset an isle skill either. The two tracks are simply independent.
Only the skills that feed the isle content have been ported. Farming, Firemaking, Runecrafting, Fletching, Crafting, Prayer, Agility, Slayer, and Construction do not exist on the isle. Everything you might want them for lives elsewhere: armor moved to Smithing, farming has no isle crop chain, prayer's bones are shared with the mainland altar.

Elder XP scaling
Because the isle has fewer activities than the mainland, elder XP scales with your current level in the same skill so the grind never plateaus. Session XP is multiplied by:
1 + (elder_level - 1) * 0.05
Level 1 = 1.00×. Level 30 = 2.45×. Level 60 = 3.95×. Level 99 = 5.90×. This is applied on top of the base activity XP, before sigil bonuses.
Activities
Each skill's isle activity roster is shorter than mainland's, four tiers, gated at 1 / 30 / 60 / 85 elder-level. The four gathering tiers feed the four smithing/cooking tiers, and the smithing tiers feed the armor chain.
| Skill | Activities |
|---|---|
| Mining | Mythrite Ore (lvl 1), Abyssal Ore (lvl 30), Voidsteel Ore (lvl 60), Starforged Ore (lvl 85) |
| Woodcutting | Coastal Pine (lvl 1), Grove Oak (lvl 30), Abyssal Tree (lvl 60), Starwood Tree (lvl 85) |
| Fishing | Tidepool Crab (raw) (lvl 1), Grove Bass (raw) (lvl 30), Lavafin (raw) (lvl 60), Deepwater Ray (raw) (lvl 85) |
| Smithing | Mythrite Bar (lvl 1), Abyssal Bar (lvl 30), Voidsteel Bar (lvl 60), Starforged Bar (lvl 85) |

What isle sessions can and cannot use
- Can use: elder gear (Elder helm, platebody, boots, etc.), sigil bonuses from stones embedded in Elder pieces, mainland-owned pets that are cosmetic, and your shared inventory.
- Cannot use: XP boost, prestige nodes, race prestige upgrades, church blessings, prayer cape scaling, heirloom mirror, goose coin pet, seasonal event boosts, guild boosts, or any mainland cape's XP.
The only bonuses that flow onto an isle session are elder level scaling and sigil stones.
