Frying Pans

Equip a frying pan to multiply how many meals you can cook per session. Higher-tier frying pans require a higher Cooking level.

Tool Level Required Efficiency
Heirloom Frying Pan 1 4.50×
Bronze Frying Pan 1 1.00×
Iron Frying Pan 15 1.25×
Steel Frying Pan 30 1.50×
Mithril Frying Pan 55 1.75×
Dwarven Frying Pan 60 2.50×
Adamantite Frying Pan 70 2.00×
Runite Frying Pan 85 2.25×
Divine Frying Pan 85 3.00×

Frying pan tier efficiency multiplier

Depending on the difference in tier between the tool used for cooking and the item you are cooking, you can receive an additional mult to your standard tool efficiency. The effect of this is that you can craft items with lower tiers potentially much faster than items with higher tiers if you have higher-tiered tools.

For normal tools, their tier is determined by their minimum level required to equip. For the Heirloom Frying Pan, its tier is defined by your current cooking level. The heirloom's tool efficiency itself is calculated separately as described in Heirlooms.

For items, their tier depends on the minimum required level for cooking.

The level ranges for each tier and the associated tools are defined as below:

Tier Level Range Tools
1 1-14 Bronze Frying Pan
2 15-29 Iron Frying Pan
3 30-54 Steel Frying Pan
4 55-69 Mithril Frying Pan, Dwarven Frying Pan
5 70-84 Adamantite Frying Pan
6 ≥85 Runite Frying Pan, Divine Frying Pan

The exact multiplier you get applied to your tool efficiency depends on the tier difference as calculated using the formula: Tier difference=tool tieritem tierTier\ difference = tool\ tier - item\ tier. The tool efficiency is multiplied as per the table below (— indicates no mult applied)

Tool tier
1 2 3 4 5 6
Item Tier 1 ×1.25 ×1.5 ×1.75 ×2.0 ×2.25
2 ×1.25 ×1.5 ×1.75 ×2.0
3 ×1.25 ×1.5 ×1.75
4 ×1.25 ×1.5
5 ×1.25
